Time is one of the hardest thing to explain, well here goes my best try. Time is a illusion created by the brain to make sense of the "time" delay required to send information to the brain. Think about every even like a snapshot that is everlasting, so with this ideology, it is like a movie. Your brain puts these snapshots together to get motion, witch requires the belief that nothing actually moves. Now that last statement might get people to not believe me but in the context it makes sense.
Your reception of "time" can be completely off just because of a minor brain tumor so "time" must be derived from the brain. So we are all just stuck watching a movie, nothing happens in real time because all these snapshots have already been taken. Truthfully we have already died through bad choice and actions of others, but that is not the part of the multiverse you are witnessing(its not your copy of this "movie", that is your life). But that's a conversation on a completely diffrent topic.
